The soap lathers very well. The ACV spray made me wished I had a bowl or a sink to let my hair soak in it. The aloe spray smells amazing and keeps the hair moisturized. My only gripe was the spray nozzles. I will buy again. My locs have been officially “grapefruited” lol
This is an absolute revitalizing mist. Implement this mist in your daily routine if you like me you get dry and coarse locs overtime. I get a re-twist every couple of months, and I’ve been looking for ways to hydrate my hair. daily without always doing a wash. I love how natural the lemon smells and the herb scent kind of lingers on after and smells very soothing.
Spray bottle doesn’t come out as a mist just a hard straight spray but it is moisturizing
I’ve tried all the other moisturizing mists, from Free the Roots, several times. It’s the only product I use on my locs. This was the first time to try the ruby grapefruit. Not a big fan of this particular scent. Still great quality though, so I mixed in some of the other scents I have from Free the Roots.

I’ve made several purchases and have always loved everything I’ve received. This time around I bought the ACV and aloe mist bundle and I’m pretty sure I received old products. Of the multiple times I’ve purchased the lavender mist, this time I received a bottle that smelled sour and made my scalp burn. The nozzle is weird and I think this is a previous design - at first I thought it was an improved nozzle, but the off/on push button actually leaks whenever it’s handled. I’ve reached out to customer service, but still no answer. I think I’ll just throw the products away. If the mist is outdated, I have to assume the ACV rinse is as well. Bummer I loved this company and products and understand quality products are pricey, but this isn’t good.

I absolutely love these products. I mist my hair every single day with the hydrating mist. It just smells so incredible and my locs absolutely love this product. I used the acv rinse on a clients hair and when I tell you her hair was so much more manageable afterwards... free the roots adds to my loc journey and I am enjoying every second

the mist really helps to keep my locs moisturized in between washes. And the smells are really refreshing. My favorite is the rose and lavender

I've tried several different products since starting my locs. The others leave either my scalp itchy or make my locs hard. Free the roots, specifically Sensitive rose, hydrates my scalp and makes my locs. I've tried other scents and scalp return to Sensitive rose. I just hate it is not available so often.
